Responsibilities :

• Trend research
• Creating presentation boards for sales meetings
• Produce sketches (on Illustrator) as well as the accompanying colours, construction, fabrics and trims requirements
• Creating with the graphic design team all “avatars” collection
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure all deadlines for projects are met
• Attending fit and spec meetings to clearly update technical files
• Ensuring quality of workmanship and attention to design details
• Reviewing all samples to ensure details are properly done and quality is accurate
• Maintaining fabrics, samples and trims archives and libraries
• Preparing all samples for tradeshows
• Monitor, manage, & lead a team of 5 designers ensuring all deadlines are met

Qualifications :

• Experience with innovative fashion designs
• Knowledge of pet apparel and accessories (bonus)
• Creative flair and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Degree in Fashion Design or related field
• 10 years experience in Design
• Knowledge of garment production, pattern making and grading
• Strong knowledge of Excel, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Sense of urgency, prioritizing skills and able to meet and exceed targets and deadlines
