We prefer to hire locally in Toronto for a hybrid work environment but are open to remote candidates across Canada, including Montreal and Vancouver.

About the Role :

We are seeking a passionate and resilient Senior Software Engineer with strong problem-solving skills, a creative mindset, and perseverance. If you have a solid background in system programming and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities :

  • C / C++ Programming : Write efficient, maintainable code leveraging your experience.
  • Problem Solving : Tackle complex issues and develop innovative solutions.
  • Independent Contributor : Work autonomously and collaboratively, owning tasks from start to finish.
  • Resilience : Persevere through challenging and repetitive tasks.
  • Investigative Skills : Dig deep to identify root causes of problems.
  • Communication : Effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Linux Familiarity : Work comfortably in Linux environments, with knowledge of system programming close to the OS level.

Requirements :

  • Proficiency in C / C++ programming
  • Strong problem-solving skills and innovative thinking
  • Resilience and ability to handle challenging tasks
  • Investigative skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Familiarity with Linux and system programming near the OS level
  • Nice-to-Have : Experience with graphics development, especially OpenGL
