Marketing Analyst
Location: Montreal, In Office full-time
Position Overview:
We are seeking an analytical, detail-oriented Marketing Analyst who will play a key role in driving our business strategy by analyzing performance data across multiple marketing channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both product trends and marketing initiatives and will work closely with sales, marketing, and merchandising teams to optimize performance and support growth. You will be responsible for analyzing marketing data, and experience in Meta and email marketing being a valuable asset.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing & Campaign Analysis:
- Analyze the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns, including Meta (Facebook / Instagram) ads, email marketing, and other online initiatives.
- Provide insights on customer acquisition costs (CAC), return on ad spend (ROAS), conversion rates, and overall campaign performance.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and optimize ongoing campaigns.
- Assist in segmentation and targeting strategies for online campaigns, identifying key customer segments and trends to improve marketing efforts.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on sales performance across our online, wholesale, and mass market channels.
- Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement based on historical sales data, customer behavior, and market trends.
- Develop actionable insights and provide data-driven recommendations to improve sales performance and profitability across all channels.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to provide context to sales and marketing performance.
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify potential market opportunities and threats.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in marketing analysis, business intelligence, or a similar analytical role, preferably in the apparel or retail industry.
- Experience analyzing data from multiple marketing channels.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing metrics and experience analyzing marketing performance (Meta ads, email marketing, etc.).
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets and extract meaningful insights.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables, formulas, and data visualization tools.
- Experience with Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, and email marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo) is highly preferred.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
