We are seeking a graphics programmer to join the Dead by Daylight graphics team. Dead by Daylight is a GaaS (Game as a Service) available on PC and consoles. The graphics team collaborates with various disciplines including programming, art, and design to develop rendering features and optimize game performance.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement rendering features and systems, including engine features and pipeline tools, such as rendering pipeline optimizations, special effects, and integrating cutting-edge rendering techniques.
- Optimize graphics performance by profiling, analyzing, and addressing bottlenecks using techniques like LODs, culling, and batching.
- Fix bugs related to rendering and graphics, ensuring stability and quality in a live game environment.
- Ensure compatibility and functionality across all supported platforms: PC, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
- Collaborate with other programmers and disciplines such as art and system programming to deliver high-quality rendering features.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the gaming industry focusing on graphics programming.
- Strong understanding of 3D graphics principles, shading, lighting, texturing, and rendering techniques.
- Proficiency in modern graphics APIs like DirectX and Vulkan.
- Excellent knowledge of C++.
- Solution-oriented with a collaborative spirit.
- Experience with Unreal Engine 4 or 5 is a plus.
