Figurr Architects is looking for an experienced interior designer with 5 to 10 years of experience to join its dynamic team in Montreal. You’ll work on projects that are primarily corporate in nature, with some commercial and institutional work as well.

Main Responsibilities
The interior designer will be responsible for designing interior layouts that optimize space usage while adhering to evolving standards and trends, with the goal of creating functional, healthy, and pleasant environments for users. Tasks will include, but are not limited to, producing detailed documentation such as floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, finish plans, furniture layouts, millwork details, and technical specifications; researching materials, lighting systems, and furnishings; and coordinating information with consultants, suppliers, and other professionals. The designer will work under the supervision of the project architect or project manager, depending on the case, and in collaboration with other team members on projects of various scales, primarily corporate and occasionally commercial or institutional.
You have the following qualifications:
- 5 to 10 years of experience (minimum 3 years in Quebec).
- Strong knowledge of interior finish products, furnishing systems, prefabricated partitions, and construction details for built-in furniture.
- Experience in the construction detailing of interior components such as built-in, millwork, casework, and custom ceilings.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and REVIT.
- Skilled in SketchUp and Photoshop.
- Autonomous and versatile.
- Ability to manage multiple projects (organizational skills).
- Strong interpersonal skills and leadership.
