Hi, I'm Jérémy Dupeuble, Recruitment Consultant at Fed ManuTech. I'm currently looking for a Mechanical Designer to join a fast-growing company in the electric vehicle sector.

Responsabilités clés :

• Design new mechanical systems and improve existing ones.
• Build and document 3D assemblies and detailed 2D drawings.
• Maintain and update files within Autodesk Vault (ECO).
• Write technical documentation and assembly instructions.
• Coordinate prototype fabrication and testing.
• Integrate electrical components (e.g., harnesses) into mechanical assemblies.
• Work closely with the shop floor to validate and refine your designs.

Éducation et expérience :

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in mechanical design.
• Experience in sheet metal, welded assemblies, machined and molded parts.
• Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Working knowledge of Inventor and Vault Professional (or similar 3D software).
• Background in transportation or powered equipment is an asset.
• Basic electrical knowledge is a plus.
• Bilingualism (French required, English an asset).

Informations supplémentaires :

• Salary: $60,000 to $110,000 depending on profile.
• Schedule: 40 hours/week, flexible hours (between 6:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.).
• Remote work: 1-2 days/week.
• Language: French required, English an asset.
