Modaxo, a global technology organization focused on moving the world’s people, is searching for a highly motivated Business Development professional to be a part of our Global M&A team. You’ll play a key role in driving our organization’s growth through strategic acquisitions in the people transportation industry.

Role Description

  • Source opportunities and further build relationships with existing acquisition targets in the transportation software space.
  • Develop creative outreach strategies to connect with CEOs and founders.
  • Analyze prospects and ensure they align with Modaxo’s acquisition criteria.
  • Manage our M&A pipeline in Salesforce, tracking leads and nurturing relationships.
  • Represent Modaxo with professionalism while engaging with various stakeholders.
  • Travel occasionally (around 10%) to conferences and meetings.

Qualifications

  • You hold a business, finance, or economics degree with a keen eye for spotting great acquisition opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills are a must, allowing you to build rapport with high-level executives.
  • You’re a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and exceeding goals.
  • Persistence is your middle name! You have the drive to build relationships and close deals.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Excel is a plus.
  • Experience in the software industry or sales is a major advantage.
