Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles and meticulous attention to detail. You will be responsible for various accounting tasks, including managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial reports, and more. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

The candidate will assist the finance departments with:

  • Establishing good contact with clients and suppliers
  • Payroll management (bi-monthly)
  • Participating in year-end audit files
  • Collaborating with various departments (finance, sales, consulting, development, and IT)
  • Performing other related office tasks, such as word processing, filing, record keeping, photocopying, and sending mail or faxes
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable
  • Handling the reception and sending of mail
  • Entering invoices into the computer system, classification, and consolidation (monthly)
  • Performing bank reconciliations (monthly)
  • Making payments by electronic fund transfer
  • Managing invoices related to company credit cards

REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE SOUGHT

  • Certificate, technical diploma, or bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • Very good communication in French and English (written and spoken)
  • Proficiency in the Office suite
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft software
  • Very good knowledge of SAP Business One software
  • Resourcefulness, autonomy, and initiative
  • Positive attitude, motivation, and team spirit
  • Attention to detail, organization, and rigor
  • Excellent ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and good priority management
