This is a permanent, full-time position. The Information Security Analyst III is part of the first line of cyber defense, working with IT and business partners to manage information security risks and ensure compliance with security policies. The role involves delivering analysis-based cyber security services, including security assessments, responding to inquiries, and assessing controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide security consultation to stakeholders.
  • Implement security controls in projects and initiatives to protect confidential information.
  • Conduct security risk assessments and research emerging threats.
  • Develop and perform vulnerability assessments, documenting findings.
  • Review vulnerability reports and prioritize remediation efforts.
  • Collaborate creatively with internal clients to deliver solutions.
  • Maintain continuous learning and influence others.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree in Business, Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 7 years in Information Security or IT, focusing on risk management.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CISA preferred.
  • Experience interpreting and consulting on security principles and standards.
  • Knowledge of security assessments, attack vectors, and mitigation controls.
  • Technical background in networks, servers, applications, and cloud technologies.
  • Understanding of security technologies like encryption, firewalls, IDS / IPS, malware protection, DDoS, DLP, SIEM.
  • Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure).
  • Familiarity with IT control frameworks (SOC, ISO 27001, NIST).
  • Proactive, strategic thinker with negotiation skills.
  • Reliability Status security clearance required.

Additional Details
