We are currently seeking skilled linguists for long-term freelance opportunities as Proofreaders specializing in legal and technical translations from (en-US) into (French (Canada)).

Role : Proofreader

Mandatory Qualifications, Skills, and Experience :

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills in (en-US) to (French (Canada)).
  • Specialization in Legal and Technical fields.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, spelling, and grammar.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism under tight deadlines.

Minimum Requirements (Must meet ONE of the following) :

  • A degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies, OR an equivalent degree with significant translation training from a recognized institution.
  • 2 years of translation experience plus a college degree.
  • 5 years of translation experience (no degree required).
  • A certificate of competence in translation issued by an appropriate government body.

    • Additional Requirements :

  • Agreement to confidentiality terms.
  • Successful completion of required skill evaluation tests.
  • Completion of onboarding modules.

    a) Your relevant Translation, MTPE, and Proofreading experience.

  • Proofreading : Per source word (USD).
