Manager, Mutual Fund Events

Responsibilities :
Support Canadian Operations initiatives, including post-implementation follow-up. Document process improvements and ensure alignment with best practices. Communicate and mitigate operational risks tied to project execution. Collaborate with internal and external business partners and stakeholders. Coordinate fund system setups and implementation tasks. Liaise with custodians and valuation agents. Create impact assessments and recommend mitigation strategies. Analyze operating models and propose workflow optimizations. Recommend implementation strategies that align with business objectives. Develop tools and controls to improve data quality and operational performance. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies. What you will need to succeed :
University degree in finance or accounting. CPA or CFA designation is an asset. 5–7+ years of experience in the financial industry. 5+ years of hands-on experience in fund accounting and back-office operations. Solid understanding of investment funds, insurance funds, and securities products. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; intermediate Excel required. Self-starter with excellent communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Responsible, reliable, and capable of working autonomously. Bilingual in French and English is essential to communicate effectively with stakeholders and ensure accurate coordination of fund operations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
