We are looking for a talented and motivated Mechanical Designer to join our growing engineering team. This role offers a great opportunity to work on a variety of mechanical design projects, from concept to production, in a dynamic and innovative environment. You’ll be involved in the development of complex mechanical systems, products, and components with a strong focus on SolidWorks 3D modeling and technical drawings .

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop detailed 3D models and 2D technical drawings using SolidWorks 2018
  • Collaborate with engineers and project stakeholders to understand design requirements
  • Participate in product development cycles, from concept through prototyping and validation
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal design guidelines
  • Support the creation and maintenance of design documentation and BOMs
  • Perform design revisions and implement improvements based on feedback and testing
  • Manage data and documentation using SolidWorks PDM
  • Utilize SolidWorks Inspector for quality control and drawing verification, when applicable

Required Qualifications :

  • 2 to 3 years of professional experience in mechanical design
  • Proficient in SolidWorks 2018 for 3D modeling and 2D drawings
  • Strong understanding of mechanical components, tolerances, and manufacturing processes
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret and create technical drawings and specifications
  • Comfortable working independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

    • Nice-to-Have (Assets) :

  • Working knowledge of SolidWorks PDM and SolidWorks Inspector
  • Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
  • Experience in product lifecycle management (PLM) tools
  • Understanding of materials and manufacturing methods (sheet metal, plastics, machining, etc.)

    • Language Requirements :

  • Bilingual (English and French) preferred
  • Candidates who are fluent in English only are also welcome to apply
