Richelieu Hardware is a North American leader and an agent of change in a creative and dynamic industry. We are an importer, distributor and manufacturer of specialty hardware and complementary products.

Our customers include more than 100,000 in North America : manufacturers of kitchen and bathroom cabinetry, storage and wardrobe products, residential and office furniture, residential and commercial cabinet makers, and hardware retailers including renovation superstores.

Our team comprises 2,700 people, nearly half dedicated to sales and marketing, with over 50% being Richelieu shareholders.

Business Development, Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A)

This is a full-time position based in Montreal, Canada.

In this role, you will source new acquisitions, develop relationships with key decision makers, and perform investment analysis. Success requires strong interpersonal skills, solid business acumen, a passion for relationship building, and financial literacy. Prior experience in business development is helpful but not necessary.

Your responsibilities include :

• Engaging with potential acquisition targets using communication and CRM tools.
• Maintaining relationships with existing network of targets.
• Communicating Richelieu’s investment strategy professionally.
• Supporting the team in qualifying potential targets.
• Generating leads, setting up opportunities, and progressing deals through the M&A pipeline.
