P. I. or immediate supervisor : Prof. Jean-Philippe Gouin
The research assistant will work directly under the principal investigator to carry out the general operations and administration of the lab. The candidate will coordinate the general operations of a longitudinal study on couples’ health behaviours. The research assistant will work remotely at times and will need to travel up to 50 km radius within the Greater Montreal Area. The position entails research coordination, carrying out data collection (interviewing, planning and conducting in-person testing, and preparing and sending questionnaires), and completing administrative work.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :
- Scheduling and conducting testing sessions with participants
- Assisting with creation and submission of study documentation (ethics requests / renewals, protocols, etc.)
- Collaborating with other Research Assistants, assisting the Principal Investigator with delegation of responsibilities and providing progress reports related to project milestones
- Assisting with administrative tasks related to the management of the projects and the grants
- Collecting data at research participants’ homes in the Greater Montreal Area and at Concordia University’s Loyola campus
- Requires flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Other research tasks as outlined by the Principal Investigator
