Job Overview :

We are seeking a technically proficient individual to support the manual correction of technical translations in the Spares Finder cataloguing tool. The tool automatically translates materials into French, but the technical translations are often inaccurate. The successful candidate will review and improve the quality of these translations, ensuring the terminology aligns with the specific technical context. Additionally, the role will involve providing valuable feedback to Spares Finder to refine and enhance the translation dictionary for future use.

Job Description Summary :

Under direct supervision, the candidate will be responsible for writing technical copy for various operation and maintenance manuals and technical publications. This includes preparing written text and coordinating layout and organization of manuals and other documents according to prepared outlines and specifications. The candidate will research available technical data including drawings, design reports, equipment, and test specifications. They may work with engineers and other technical personnel to clarify document contents. Typically, this role requires a Bachelor's degree and less than two years of experience.
