Job Overview
We are looking for a computer technician to join our team! The IT Analyst will work independently or as part of a team, applying technical knowledge, expertise and systems analysis techniques and procedures to make appropriate decisions regarding management, systems control, testing, problem solving, providing advice and recommendations, and maintaining the organization’s technology system architecture. He / She consults with users to determine system requirements for items such as hardware, software or system functional specifications.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and resolving them in a timely manner. Install, evaluate, and configure IT equipment (printers, laptops, and peripherals).
- Perform regular system maintenance tasks, including software updates, and patch management, to ensure system reliability and security.
- Manage Backups : Maintain archiving and data retention according to the organization's procedures.
- Analyze current IT systems, architectures, and processes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze IT requirements and recommend appropriate solutions to meet their needs.
- Collaborate closely with team lead and manager concerning the planning, design, and implementation of IT projects and initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Maintain robust systems processes and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory bodies, including HQ security department.
- Interact with IT vendors and manage relationships to ensure the procurement of cost-effective hardware and software solutions.
