As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a passionate and strategic Business Development Manager to grow and strengthen our B2B partnerships—especially within the big box retail space.
The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand Gazebo Penguin’s reach with big box retailers, online retail giants, and distribution partners across North America
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key buyers, purchasing departments, and merchandising teams
- Identify new market opportunities, trends, and customer needs within the outdoor living and home improvement sectors
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and promotional programs that align with company goals and drive revenue
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (product, operations, customer service, and marketing) to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Represent the brand at trade shows, buyer meetings, and industry events
- Track and analyze sales performance, forecasts, and KPIs to inform business decisions
