Event Coordinator

My Catering Group is a multi-faceted catering company that has undergone many expansions and contracts and we're looking to expand our team with amazing, like-minded individuals to meet our consistently growing needs. Some of our operations are currently located at the Museum of History, the Museum of Nature, and the Canadian War Museum, however, our events take place all over the city and we'll need your help as an on-site event coordinator.

We are looking for an upbeat individual who has a passion for hospitality and is eager to join our team in the Ottawa / Gatineau area. The ideal candidate would be organized, manages their time well, has previous people management experience, and strive to provide the best service to our clients. Any experience in large-scale events and onsite management is an asset, in addition to French / English bilingualism.

This position includes but is not limited to :

• The coordination and execution of events behind the scenes and on-site
• The planning of events subject but not limited to : coordinating rentals, creating event timelines, event management packages / operation binders, liaising with clients, executing site visits, and anticipating client needs
• The management of events : delegating and managing on-site staff, ensuring accurate rental quantities, and executing events on-site
