Job Purpose : The Account Development Representative will be responsible for contributing to the success of our Global Sales Organization in creating new selling opportunities within prospective customer accounts by positioning Limelight’s full suite of solutions in the Content Delivery, Online Video Platform, Cloud Storage and Security space. The Account Development Representative will nurture and qualify leads, identify key decision-makers, identify business issues and work collaboratively with Limelight’s Sales and Marketing teams on pipeline building activities. The ideal candidate will possess high energy, an aggressive sales attitude and will excel in a fast-paced business development environment. Essential Functions :
- Generate new business opportunities through warm generated marketing leads, prospecting, live chat and in-bound call functions, meeting assigned activity quotas and performance goals.
- While delivering the Limelight value proposition, utilize business development experience, sales skills, resourcefulness and enthusiasm to drive lead qualification, scheduling appointments between prospects and Limelight Sales Associates.
- Gain a solid understanding of Limelight’s differentiated offerings in the SaaS industry.
- Collaborate with Limelight’s Global Business Development Executives and Sales Managers on identifying qualified opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and detailed lead, contact, account and sales activity metrics within Limelight’s Salesforce automation system.
- Communicate effectively with Marketing to continually improve lead generation activities.
