We are actively seeking a senior data scientist with a strong background in operations research (OR) to join our versatile team, working closely with business strategists and AI experts. The right candidate will have a profound knowledge of operations research methods., along with Experience with machine learning (ML) techniques, business processes and the technology sector are preferred.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead the design, development, and refinement of advanced optimization models and simulation algorithms.
  • Oversee data gathering, preprocessing, and validation efforts to ensure high-quality inputs for analytical models.
  • Analyze large-scale datasets to uncover business trends, constraints, and opportunities.
  • Develop and deploy robust statistical and ML models that drive strategic business decisions.
  • Create compelling data visualizations and reports to clearly communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Formulate and solve complex business problems using mathematical optimization techniques such as Linear Programming, Integer Programming, Dynamic Programming, and Network Optimization.
  • Develop and implement scalable quantitative models to drive decision-making across diverse business domains.
  • Apply decomposition techniques to address very large-scale optimization problems where direct solutions are intractable.
  • Design exact and heuristic approaches for operational, logistics, or resource allocation problems, balancing precision with computational efficiency.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to capture business requirements and translate them into actionable OR and ML solutions.
  • Apply linear programming, mixed-integer programming, stochastic optimization, and other advanced techniques to solve business problems.
  • Design, write, and maintain clean, efficient, and scalable Python code for decision-support applications and optimization engines.
  • Build software prototypes and production-grade tools to validate and deploy advanced analytics models.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate optimization and machine learning models into broader systems and workflows.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of best practices in model design and analytics workflows.
  • Translate complex business requirements into structured, quantitative models that align with organizational goals.
  • Prepare and deliver high-impact presentations to internal and external stakeholders, including C-level clients.

Qualifications :

  • Master’s or PhD in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in developing and applying optimization and simulation models to real-world business problems.
  • Deep proficiency in tools and platforms such as Gurobi, CPLEX, Python (PuLP, Pyomo), ML libraries like scikit-learn, XGBoost, and LLM APIs.
  • Demonstrated experience in deploying end-to-end ML solutions, including feature engineering, model tuning, and performance evaluation.
  • Skilled in data visualization and dashboard tools like Plotly, Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.
  • Proven ability to use both deterministic and stochastic modeling techniques to support data-driven decision making.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences with clarity and confidence.
