We serve sectors such as manufacturing, automotive, oil and gas, and AEC. Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for a Sales Development Manager based in Montreal, QC, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Sales Development Manager will be responsible for managing the top of the funnel and sales operations, and leading the sales development team. Day-to-day tasks include identifying potential customers, developing SDR sequences, coaching SDR to improve their lead to deal conversion ratio and provide feedback to Marketing in improving our inbound activities. The role also involves regular communication with clients and team members to streamline sales processes and improve overall sales performance. Responsibilities Inbound Lead ManagementLead Qualification : Ensure fast response times and proper scoring based on ICP Routing : Assign qualified leads to appropriate AEs or nurture if not sales-ready.CRM Hygiene : Maintain clean, enriched lead records in HubSpot.Trade Show & Event Lead ManagementPre-Event Strategy : Align with Marketing on event goals, messaging, and lead capture workflows.Post-Event Follow-Up : Define and enforce SLAs for SDRs to engage within 24–48 hours post-show.Pipeline & Performance OversightTop-of-Funnel Metrics : Track lead-to-MQL, MQL-to-SQL, response time, and booked meetings.Forecasting : Report weekly on SDR pipeline creation (by source, campaign, territory).Team Leadership & EnablementCoaching : Run weekly 1 : 1s and call reviews; train SDRs on Prevu3D’s value propHiring & Onboarding : Recruit high-output SDRs familiar with industrial / CAD tech.Process & Tech Stack OwnershipTooling : Optimize use of HubSpot, SalesLoft / Outreach, calendar booking tools, enrichment APIs Automation : Implement workflows to reduce manual SDR tasks (e.g., enrichment, task creation).QualificationsMust be based in Montreal, QCStrong Communication skills to interact with clients and team membersLead Generation and Sales skills to identify and secure new business opportunitiesExperience in Team Management to lead and develop the sales development teamProficiency in Sales Operations to manage and organize sales activitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamExperience in the software, technology or manufacturing industry is a plusBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
