Role Overview
The IT Infrastructure and EUC Specialist plays a critical hands-on role in supporting and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure and end-user services. Reporting to the Infrastructure and EUC Manager, this role provides Level 1 / 2 technical support, ensures the stability of local systems, and contributes to delivering a secure and efficient digital workplace. The Specialist works closely with both users and global IT teams to maintain high service levels and system reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Support
- Assist in maintaining and supporting local IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud platforms, and backup systems.
- Monitor system health and performance; troubleshoot and escalate infrastructure issues as needed.
- Implement standard infrastructure procedures under the guidance of the manager.
End-User Computing (EUC)
Deliver Level 1 / 2 support for end-user hardware and software issues escalated from the service desk. Support the provisioning, deployment, and management of end-user devices (PCs, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals). Assist in managing endpoint configuration, software distribution, and patching processes. Service Operations
Follow ITIL-based processes for incident, change, and request management using ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira). Collaborate with the Level 1 Service Desk to ensure effective ticket resolution and user satisfaction. Contribute to documentation of support procedures, technical guides, and knowledge base articles. Security and Compliance
Ensure compliance with endpoint security, data protection, and IT policies. Support implementation of technical controls aligned with cybersecurity standards. Assist with user access management and device encryption. Qualifications and Skills
Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. 3–5 years of experience in IT support, infrastructure, or EUC roles. Solid understanding of Windows environments, Active Directory, networking basics, phone system, RDS and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS). Familiarity with ITSM / ITIL tools and processes. Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and interpersonal communication skills. Preferred Certifications
CompTIA A+ or Network+ Microsoft Certified : Modern Desktop Administrator Associate ITIL v4 Foundation Azure Fundamentals or AWS Cloud Practitioner (a plus)
