Montreal (in office) As a Portfolio Associate , you will report to the General Manager of the Sports Portfolio, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategies that enhance the performance and profitability of Valnet's sports brands : GIVEMESPORT.com, TheSportster.Manage a P&L up to the gross profit level, focusing on revenue growth and cost optimization within the sports portfolio. Ability to develop an understanding of content creation and search engine optimization (SEO) to lead and optimize specific initiatives effectively. Evaluate website performance and competitor analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic enhancements. Lead and mentor a team of sports content experts, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Review and streamline content processes to maximize traffic growth and audience engagement. Enhance publisher brand equity through strategic multimedia investments such as video, images, newsletters, podcasts, and high-quality articles. Provide insights and guidance on optimizing social media strategies for increased engagement and audience reach. Strong analytical skills, with a proven ability to use data to drive decision-making.
