Your Role

I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a manufacturing company specializing in machinery and equipment located in Montreal East, for a Permanent Electrical Designer - 39.5 hours per week (paid 40 hours). Hybrid work available (2 days per week).

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your responsibilities include :

  • Analyzing client requirements and identifying necessary equipment for product design.
  • Designing control panels (automation-focused, no power circuits).
  • Defining the Bill of Materials (BOM) and selecting components.
  • Calculating electrical loads.
  • Modifying and adjusting electrical drawings.
  • Collaborating closely with the production team.
  • Writing technical documentation for each product.
  • Performing additional tasks related to the role as needed.

    Your Profile

  • Experience : Minimum 2 years in control panel design or a similar role.
  • Education : DEC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (experience will be prioritized).
  • Languages : Fluent in French.
  • Tools : Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical.
