Fuze HR is currently looking for an IT manager who would like to be part of our client's prestigious team; our client has been an innovator in the fashion industry for many years.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead all aspects of information technology, including data and information technology, voice communications, network design and development, computer system development as well as the Internet. More precisely :
  • Direct and control activities related to the design, installation, maintenance and support of equipment and networking or telecommunications software, as well as the training and human resources evaluation assigned for a network of 15 servers and 50 computers.
  • Ensure optimal network performance.
  • Supervise network support and problem-solving activities.
  • Prepare the required reports.
  • Ensure the compatibility of all software and equipment in the organization.
  • Establish the organization's long-term information systems needs, formulate, recommend and implement policies, strategies, methods and tools for the development and maintenance of systems and acquisition and integration of IT equipment.
  • Control the operating and capitalization expenses of the services under its responsibility.
  • Ensure the integrity of systems, the security of premises and data, the development of action plans in case of emergency, as well as the efficiency and quality of user support.
  • Repair and maintain computer equipment.
  • Establish and maintain up-to-date checklists of the organization's assets.
  • Document procedures and maintain existing documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with external standards (e.g. PCI) and respond to external audits.
  • Negotiate agreements with suppliers and ensure the relationship with them.
  • Ensure the integrity of data in and between systems.
  • Daily check reports on control, system status (physical and logical), integrity of transactions and data.
  • Troubleshooting users.
  • Implement new processes to optimize organizational efficiency by minimizing expenses and maximizing revenues, increasing controls and reducing manual exceptions.
  • Conduct a needs analysis.
  • Interview key users.
  • Develop options by evaluating the effort (costs) and benefits of each option.
  • Program or delegate programming.
  • Present options to management.
  • Test, document, deploy, train.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, or in an appropriate discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management.
  • Experience or knowledge of the distribution sector is an asset.
  • Experience with agile methods is an asset.
  • Bilingual: excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English.
