Job Title : Junior Designer - Pet Division

Location : Montreal, QC

Industry : Apparel

Position Status : Full-Time

Hours : Monday to Friday

Compensation : up to $60,000 / year based on experience

Our client, a women's apparel company, is searching for a skilled Fashion Designer or Technical Designer with 2+ years of experience to join their team. This role is primarily focused on technical aspects of design, so we are open to candidates with a technical designer background as well.

Responsibilities :

Create and maintain tech packs and technical drawings for garment designs.
Ensure that all design specifications are clearly communicated to the production team.
Apply a strong knowledge of garment construction to ensure designs are both practical and manufacturable.
Work closely with the design and production teams to ensure the accuracy and quality of designs.
Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop for design and technical drawing purposes.

Requirements :

2+ years of experience in a similar role.

Strong understanding of garment construction .

Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop .

Ability to create accurate tech packs and technical drawings .

Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
