Job Description

Job Summary :

Inside a team of fully dedicated AI software you will perform research, analysis, development, and validation of State-Of-The-Art AI-based algorithms for integration into Teledyne’s Astrocyte software for usage in the field of industrial vision.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities :

Under the supervision of the project manager, your main tasks will consist of :

  • Research, analyze, and experiment recent algorithms in AI development community
  • Develop and integrate new algorithms in AI platform (Astrocyte)
  • Improve, maintain, and troubleshoot existing algorithms
  • Write and maintain unit-test and system-test functions
  • Occasionally attend scientific AI events
  • Contribute to the development of other components of the AI ecosystem in the Montreal AI team.

The ideal candidate quickly integrates new knowledge, demonstrates initiative and autonomy, and is capable of efficient cooperation in a multidisciplinary team.

Job Qualifications : Mandatory :

  • Master or PhD degree in Artificial Intelligence
  • Programming experience with Python language
  • Programming experience on a Linux OS
  • Strong knowledge of data science and machine learning paradigms
  • Knowledge of one AI framework such as PyTorch and TensorFlow
  • Written and spoken French and English
  • Recommended :

  • Programming experience with C / C++ language
  • Experience in Embedded Programming
