Your Opportunity

Our Technology Risk Assurance group is seeking a Manager to join our growing team in Montreal. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and delivering IS Audit and SOC 1 / CSAE 3416 / SOC 2 audit assignments. You will also lead a team of professionals through all stages of the engagement, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the day-to-day workload and progress of staff, reviewing work for accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform and oversee IS Audit assignments related to financial statement audits.
  • Lead the execution and delivery of SOC 1 / CSAE 3416 / SOC 2 audits and assessments against other relevant frameworks.
  • Actively support Partners in business development efforts.
  • Manage client relationships as the primary point of contact and audit lead.
  • Review key deliverables to ensure alignment with scope and budget.
  • Oversee invoicing and financial management of engagements.
  • Ensure adherence to BDO Methodology, maintaining high standards and timely deliverables.
  • Mentor and support colleagues, fostering professional growth and development.
  • Demonstrate experience in leading and contributing to high-performing teams.

  • Your Experience and Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional experience in a similar role.
  • Fully fluent in English and French.
  • Based in Montreal or willing to relocate.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • CISA designation required; CPA is a plus.
  • Strong ability to align project deliverables with client expectations.
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring team members.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Goal-oriented, results-driven, and client-focused.
  • Due to frequent communications and interactions by email and phone with English-speaking clients in Quebec and outside of Quebec, proficiency in spoken and written English is required for this position.
