The Project Manager II, EPTR has the overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of assigned clinical trials. The Project Manager II, EPTR oversees and coordinates study resources to ensure compliance with the study budget, project scope and timelines and in accordance with applicable standard operating procedures (SOPs), good clinical practices, regulatory and study-specific requirements. The Project Manager II, EPTR acts as the main line of communication to relevant stakeholders and provides input to feasibility, study design, budget development and ensures progress reporting (resources, budget and timeline).
More specifically, the Project Manager II, Early Phase and Translational Research (EPTR):
- Acts as the main point of contact for sponsors, vendors, and internal study teams throughout the lifecycle of a clinical trial.
- Works closely with clients at study start-up to understand their goals and help determine the most effective operational approach.
- Maintains regular communication with sponsors, study teams, functional departments, clinical sites, and senior management.
- Oversees all operational aspects of clinical trials, including timelines, budgets, resources, vendor management, and clinical operations activities, while coordinating deliverables across departments.
- Monitors and controls study budgets by tracking hours, reviewing billed time, identifying out-of-scope activities, and supporting change order management.
- Provides regular updates to internal and external stakeholders on study progress, including site selection, vendor management, budgets, timelines, quality standards, and risk mitigation efforts.
- Leads study start-up activities, including kick-off meetings, Trial Master File (TMF) setup, site selection and activation, vendor onboarding, site contracting, and budget negotiations.
- Identifies and manages risks, implements quality control measures, and escalates issues to management, quality assurance, or sponsors when necessary.
- Leads client meetings, internal team meetings, and vendor status calls, ensuring meeting minutes are documented, distributed, and filed appropriately.
- Oversees the quality of project deliverables, including vendor and subcontractor outputs, and drives continuous improvement in training, execution, and quality processes.
- Evaluates differences between planned and actual project outcomes and implements corrective actions when required.
- Ensures study-specific training matrices are customized, maintained, and up to date.
- Verifies that all team members and service providers receive adequate project training and that training records remain current.
- Reviews and approves responses to quality assurance audits to ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Ensures key study documents and deliverables, such as protocols, informed consent forms, eCRFs, source document templates, tables/listings/figures, and clinical study reports, are completed on schedule and meet study requirements.
- Oversees the filing, maintenance, and archiving of study documentation within the TMF in compliance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements.
- Provides project status updates while ensuring compliance with budgets, scope, timelines, SOPs, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), regulatory requirements, and study-specific procedures.
- Tracks recruitment performance and develops mitigation plans when enrollment timelines are at risk.
- Participates in the planning and execution of Investigator Meetings.
- Works with Regulatory Affairs to ensure ethics submissions are completed on time and that essential documents are collected and maintained throughout the study.
- Ensures the TMF remains complete, accurate, and inspection-ready at all times.
- May oversee clinical monitoring activities, including site qualification, initiation, routine monitoring, and close-out visits, as well as CRA training and monitoring oversight.
- Supports study sites and ensures they have the necessary materials and resources to conduct the study effectively.
- Collaborates with Data Management to ensure CRFs meet protocol and sponsor requirements and that data review and query resolution remain on schedule through database lock.
- Partners with Clinical Operations to ensure monitoring activities are completed according to sponsor expectations, SOPs, regulations, GCP, and study requirements.
- Contributes to the development of Clinical Monitoring Plans.
- Provides project-specific training to Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) and may conduct site initiation visits for single-site studies.
- Develops annotated site visit reports and monitoring tools, including source data verification worksheets.
- May mentor junior staff and support the onboarding of new employees.
- Provides technical, therapeutic, and project management expertise to support departmental training and process improvement initiatives.
- May participate in business development activities, including client meetings, proposal defenses, RFIs, and RFP responses.
- May contribute to process improvement initiatives, including the development, testing, and implementation of operational tools and processes.

- A Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) in a field related to clinical research. A Master's degree (M.Sc.) or Ph.D. is considered an asset.
- At least 5 years of experience in the clinical research industry, including a minimum of 3 years of project management experience in Phase I and Phase II clinical trials.
- Experience managing multiple clinical trials simultaneously across several study sites.
- Previous experience in dermatology clinical trials, which is strongly preferred.

NATURE OF WORK

2) Qualité des données ERP et préparation des données de référence (avant et après la mise en service)
Mettre en place et exécuter des contrôles pratiques de la qualité des données pour les principaux domaines de données de référence (p. ex. : articles/SKU, fournisseurs, clients, emplacements, attributs de prix, unités de mesure) avec des résultats clairs de type « réussi/échoué ».
Tenir à jour un registre des problèmes liés à la qualité des données : classer les problèmes, attribuer les responsabilités, suivre les mesures correctives et valider leur résolution (en mettant l’accent sur l’exécution du travail et la production de résultats).
Soutenir la préparation à la migration à l’aide de livrables concrets : modèles de validation, vérifications d’exhaustivité, résultats de détection des doublons et documents de validation.
Après la mise en service, maintenir des rapports de surveillance continue de la qualité des données et des processus de gestion afin de réduire les frictions opérationnelles et les exceptions EDI causées par des données de mauvaise qualité.
Qualifications requises :
Diplôme d’études collégiales (DEC) en TI, en systèmes d’affaires, en chaîne d’approvisionnement ou expérience équivalente (un baccalauréat est considéré comme un atout, mais n’est pas obligatoire).
De 1 à 3 ans d’expérience dans le soutien des opérations EDI et/ou des processus opérationnels liés à l’ERP (systèmes de chaîne d’approvisionnement, systèmes d’opérations financières, surveillance de l’intégration).
Solide compréhension des normes EDI et des outils de cartographie.

About the Role:
We are seeking an EDI & ERP Data Quality Coordinator to own the operational reliability of our Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) flows and to strengthen the quality and readiness of enterprise data supporting our upcoming Microsoft Dynamics (D) go-live.
This role ensures seamless data flow, compliance with industry standards, and strong collaboration across internal teams and external partners. This role is designed for a hands-on coordinator who enjoys structured operational execution: monitoring flows, resolving issues and producing actionable reporting. EDI will remain the top priority, while the role expands into ERP data quality controls and support.
Key Responsibilities:
1) EDI Operations (Top Priority)
Monitor daily EDI message flows, troubleshoot errors promptly, and escalate recurring issues.
Onboard new trading partners, configure connectivity and maintain partner profiles.
Define and implement mapping specifications, collaborating with partners and internal teams to translate business requirements into EDI maps.
Ensure compliance with EDI standards and partner-specific requirements.
Document EDI processes, including mappings, configurations, and connectivity settings.
Perform data integrity checks and maintain compliance with industry and security standards.
Act as liaison between IT, supply chain, finance, and external partners to resolve issues and improve workflows.
Generate reports and insights using EDI platform logs and recommend improvements.
2) ERP Data Quality & Master Data Readiness (Pre- and Post-Go-Live)
Build and run practical data quality checks for key master data domains (e.g., items/SKUs, vendors, customers, locations, pricing attributes, units of measure) with clear pass/fail outputs.
Maintain a data quality backlog: classify issues, assign ownership, track remediation, and validate closure (focused on doing the work and producing outputs.
Support migration readiness with tangible deliverables: validation templates, completeness checks, duplicate detection outputs, and sign-off artifacts.
After go-live, maintain ongoing data quality monitoring outputs and stewardship workflows to reduce operational friction and EDI exceptions caused by poor data.
Required Qualifications:
College diploma (DEC) in IT, business systems, supply chain, or equivalent experience (Bachelor’s considered an asset, not required).
1–3 years of experience supporting EDI operations and/or ERP-adjacent operational processes (supply chain systems, finance ops systems, integration monitoring).
Solid understanding of EDI standards and mapping tools.
Experience with EDI translators and integration technologies.
Familiarity with connectivity protocols and ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics).

Ce rôle consiste à collaborer étroitement avec les équipes opérationnelles afin d’améliorer l’EBITDA, les flux de trésorerie et la qualité des revenus à travers les activités principales de Valnet et ses nouvelles initiatives.
Vous travaillerez avec les responsables d’unités d’affaires afin d’identifier, de quantifier et de contribuer à l’exécution d’initiatives d’amélioration de la rentabilité, en reliant les thèses d’investissement et les priorités opérationnelles à des résultats financiers mesurables.

NATURE OF WORK:
The principal and customary work of an employee in this class of employment consists in organizing, coordinating and monitoring the procedures assigned to her/him. This class of employment also includes employees who perform principally, and customarily highly specialized work characterized by the complexity1, expertise2 and autonomy3 required.
The agent will also be the communication channel between the department, the Educational Services, schools, agencies, and could be asked to communicate with host families and international students.
CHARACTERISTIC FUNCTIONS:
The primary function of the employee in this class of employment is to assist in the coordination and execution of registrations of international students, and the reception of necessary documents for the registration, following the proper procedure for youth and adults. The person will have to prepare and follow up with the CAQ documents, custodianship, and to help with the matching of the host families and students. At different time of the year, the agent will be asked to help to organize activities and accompany them at these outings. The employee will also have to support to recruit new host families, visit them and make them sign all the necessary documentation. Analyze the students’ and families’ profile to do the best match possible. In addition, the employee prepares the invoices of the international students and different finance tasks related to account receivables and payables
The employee coordinates, verifies the work and gives his or her advice on the quality, ensures that deadlines are met; ensures staff training.
The employee determines the work schedule in his or her sector according to the instructions received, reminds the persons concerned, in or outside the board, of deadlines.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Hold a Diploma of Vocational Studies in a specialty appropriate for the class of employment, a Secondary School Diploma or a diploma or an attestation of studies recognized as equivalent by the competent authority and have six (6) years of pertinent experience.
Knowledge of immigration and International Students is an asset.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Have a thorough knowledge of office automation.
- Excellent knowledge of English and French, spoken and written.
- Understanding/Speaking of a 3rd language an asset.

Your responsibilities include:
Building machine learning-based software solutions for solving important problems;
