What You'll Be Doing

Account Managers are responsible for growth of our prepaid channel through acquisition of new retailer partners and driving sales in your region. While prepaid remains our primary focus, our retail partners will also have the ability to see other TELUS products & services.

What you bring to the team

• Strong hands-on experience building backend services in Go with clean and maintainable code
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, including how it operates and how to deploy applications; experience contributing to controllers or operators is an asset
• Practical experience with containerization and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes
• Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform or similar tools
• Experience implementing observability and monitoring solutions using Prometheus and OpenTelemetry
• Ability to write effective unit tests for Go applications and apply sound testing practices
• Familiarity with deploying and operating workloads on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Ability to collaborate effectively in Agile development environments

Vos fonctions

Sous la responsabilité du Directeur Principal Technologies, la ou le gestionnaire - portefeuille TI, attitré au secteur d’affaires Métro est responsable de la gestion du cycle de vie des actifs technologiques spécifiques à ce secteur et de la livraison en mode projet de nouvelles solutions. Le gestionnaire est responsable de la qualité de l’ensemble des services technologiques rendus à ce secteur d’affaires. Il assure les services-conseils en technologies de l’information (TI) et technologies opérationnelles (TO) afin de répondre à aux besoins d’affaires du secteur tout en respectant son budget, la capacité de son équipe et les orientations technologiques. Le gestionnaire gère des équipes de soutien et de l’exploitation, de livraison et des responsables de projets du portefeuille sous sa gouverne.

Vos principaux mandats:

• Poursuivre la transformation du portefeuille Métro vers une organisation du travail Agile, qui demeure toutefois en adéquation avec les programmes de maintiens d’actifs.
• Développer une feuille de route spécifique au secteur d’affaires Métro, qui combine à la fois les volets des TO et les TI de ce secteur.
• En s’appuyant sur des méthodologies établies (par ex : SAFE, Lean) incorpore ces feuilles de route, les initiatives stratégiques provenant du secteur d’affaires Métro et de GMA, ainsi que les initiatives tactiques et opérationnelles provenant des équipes terrain (par ex : de la DP Technologies, du Centre de Contrôle Métro, de l’ingénierie).
• Établir et mesurer les services de son équipe et apporter des améliorations.
• Collaborer étroitement avec les partenaires de GMA, participer à la priorisation, à la mise en chantier, à la réalisation et à l'intégration opérationnelle des projets de modernisation des actifs métro.

Plus spécifiquement, vous:

• agissez comme responsable des technologies pour l’ensemble des services Technologies rendus, couvrant autant les TO que les TI;
• contribuez à la réalisation du plan d’affaires de la société par des études de faisabilité afin d’optimiser la sélection et la priorisation des investissements technologiques, et veillez à ce que le portefeuille soit en lien avec les objectifs stratégiques du secteur d’affaire découlant du plan de l’organisation;
• êtes responsable de l’exploitation des services Technologiques sous sa gouverne et de l’atteinte des niveaux de services entendus;
• êtes responsable de la livraison des projets du secteur.Le gestionnaire a sous sa gouverne des responsables de projets pour la livraison complète du projet et/ou mandat, en plus du volet technologique;
• gérez le budget de façon rigoureuse, autant le budget d’exploitation (OPEX) que le budget des projets (CAPEX);
• par votre proximité avec le secteur d’affaires, connaissez les enjeux et la vision du secteur, permettant ainsi de mieux l’accompagner dans l’atteint de ses objectifs d’affaires.Le gestionnaire développe de façon continue la connaissance du terrain du secteur d’affaire;
• en collaboration avec l’architecture d’entreprise, êtes responsable d’établir, de maintenir et de communiquer la feuille de route technologique du secteur d’affaires;
• gérez le processus de gestion de la demande en étroite collaboration avec le secteur d’affaire. Vous gèrez les interdépendances, proposez des solutions et collaborez étroitement avec l’ensemble des parties prenantes du portefeuille, tant affaires que technologiques;
• dirigez la planification court/moyen/long terme, la priorisation et à l’exécution des demandes du secteur;
• travaillez en en étroite collaboration avec les autres groupes de la DETII, tel que le bureau de projet, l’architecture, la sécurité, les centres de livraison et la gouvernance;
• êtes responsable de démontrer la performance des services offerts par son portefeuille par l’utilisation d’outils et de processus mis à sa disposition par le groupe de performance de la DETII, qui s’assurera ensuite de comparer les différents portefeuilles le tout dans une optique de transparence auprès de son ou ses secteurs d’affaire et d’amélioration;
• assurez un suivi périodique, structuré et complet auprès des secteurs d’affaires.Vous vous assurez de la prise en charge et d’apporter des améliorations lors de rendement inadéquat;
• maintenez des liens de communication continus et proactifs avec le secteur d’affaires;
• agissez comme leader dans l’application de méthodes agiles tel que scrum, Kanban, SAFE, Lean ou tout autre méthodologie qui permettraient une meilleure efficience des équipes;
• êtes responsable d’équipes de compétences diverses et vous assurez de leur rendement, de leur développement et de leur évolution dans la société;
• assumez toutes tâches et toutes responsabilités inhérentes à sa fonction ou qui peuvent lui être confiées.

Le talent recherché

• Détenez un diplôme universitaire (baccalauréat) en informatique, génie ou autre diplôme pertinent.
• Possédez un minimum de 10 années d’expérience dans un domaine pertinent, dont 8 années en gestion de projets.
• Possédez une certification en gestion de projets.
• Toute combinaison de formation et expérience jugée pertinente peut être considérée.

Vous êtes une personne reconnue pour les compétences, habiletés et connaissances suivantes :

• Historique et expérience démontrés en gestion et livraison de projets à forte teneur technologique.
• Maîtrise des environnements d’automatisation industrielle (SCADA, contrôles de procédés, salle de contrôle opérationnelle).
