Job Description
Ubisoft IT is looking for a Business Intelligence Developer to join the Canadian Analytics Team (CAT) which is part of the Ubisoft Data Office (UDO). This team’s main mission is to create the best gaming experiences by putting players' behaviors and motivations at the center of the design process. They do this by delivering in-depth player insights to guide decision-making, combining state-of-the-art qualitative and quantitative analysis through a variety of methodologies and data sources to do so.
With thousands of matches across multiple competitive games developed at the studio, we need to build the best tools to collect all this data the most efficient way possible, then pass it on to our data analysis teams. As a Business Intelligence Developer in the Canadian Analytics Team (CAT), you'll help us do just that by designing methods and tools to collect, organize, and assess critical data that your Lab colleagues can use to improve games and, more importantly, player experiences.
Responsibilities
- Understand the needs of production teams to collect and provide relevant data for project development.
- Design data solutions to support game analytics using technologies like Spark, SQL, Hive, Elasticsearch, and others, as well as a DevOps development methodology and relevant tools such as Git.
- Expand your knowledge by exploring, testing, and deploying new technologies.
- Find solutions adapted to the needs of the analysis teams by creating new data collection processes while optimizing existing ones.
- Oversee the integrity of the data collected by building appropriate tools.
- Provide all the essential information our data analyst teams need by working closely with them and monitoring project development to anticipate what data will be important to collect.
- Communicate with various cross-functional teams (like online solutions and data visualization) to discuss and share information and knowledge.
Qualifications

Responsabilités Principales
- Gestion des systèmes d'information RH (SIRH) :
- Piloter l'implantation (lancement, déploiement, gestion des tests, formation) du système SIRH retenu par l'entreprise
- Développer les nouveaux processus en lien avec cette nouvelle application
- S'assurer de la collecte, de la conformité mais surtout de l'exactitude des données s'y retrouvant
- Développement, déploiement et gestion des nouveaux programmes RH :
- Contribuer à la conception, à la mise-en-œuvre, qu'à l'organisation du déploiement de nouveaux programmes
- Assurer la formation et le support des utilisateurs du système SIRH
- Rédiger et / ou mettre à jour des procédures RH visant à améliorer la gestion des talents, la formation, le développement professionnel et la rétention des employés
- Analyse et reporting RH :
- Coller et analyser les données RH pour fournir des rapports détaillés et des recommandations au DRH
Support et rôle-conseil
- Fournir des conseils et un support aux gestionnaires et aux employés sur les questions liées aux programmes et / ou enjeux RH
- Assurer une communication détaillée et claire entre les différentes parties prenantes

Sous la supervision du Directeur R&D, le développeur est responsable de créer et maintenir les librairies nécessaires à notre pipeline et nos outils.
Le poste requiert de solides compétences en développement de pipeline avec une capacité à élaborer du code efficace, robuste, facile à maintenir et facile pour les utilisateurs.
Responsabilités :
- Développer, créer et soutenir de nouveaux flux de travail ainsi que ceux déjà existants.

- Aider à dépanner, analyser et réparer les problématiques des outils de pipeline / front-end existants.
- Modifier et prolonger l’existence des outils de pipeline afin qu’ils prennent en charge les nouveaux flux de travail, conception de nouveaux systèmes ou optimisation des fonctionnalités existantes.

Under the supervision of the Head of R&D, the Developer is responsible for creating and maintaining the necessary libraries for our pipeline and tools.
This position requires strong knowledge in pipeline development with the ability to elaborate an efficient, solid, user-friendly and easy-to-maintain code base.
Responsibilities :
- Develop, create and support new and existing pipeline initiatives and workflows.
- Optimize, keep relevant and modernize the studio's pipeline by writing and maintaining efficient code.
- Code, deploy, test, maintain and document new and existing APIs and frameworks.
- Help troubleshoot, analyze and repair issues in current pipeline / front-end tools.
- Modify and extend existing pipeline tools to accommodate new workflows, take better advantage of new systems or optimize existing functionality.
Qualifications :
- 3+ years experience.
- Strong Python programming skills are required.
- Familiar with the different DDC / software used in the industry (ex. Maya, Nuke, etc.)
