IT Project Manager

We are hiring an IT Project Manager on behalf of a well-established organization in Montreal.
In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, execution and delivery of strategic projects, while ensuring that business objectives, deadlines and budgets are met. Working closely with stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams, you will ensure effective project management, anticipate risks and foster collaboration to deliver high-quality results in a dynamic environment.
Your responsibilities:

• Define project scope, objectives and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and key stakeholders.
• Develop project plans, schedules and milestones using appropriate tools (MS Project preferred).
• Determine the frequency and content of progress reports, analyze the results and solve the problems encountered.
• Define project success criteria andmunicate them to all relevant parties throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare initial budgets and rmend required adjustments using a rigorous change management process.
• Assess the need for additional resources (employees or consultants) and make appropriate rmendations.
• Divide tasks and responsibilities among team members.
• Monitor project execution and make decisions to maintain project progress.
• Prepare and present progress reports, proposals, functional documentation and presentations.
• Proactively manage risks, identify potential issues and develop contingency plans.
• Coach, mobilize, coach and supervise project team members and consultants to promote their accountability and performance.
• Develop and maintain strong business relationships that contribute to the success of projects.
• Evolve effectively in an environment where deadlines are tight.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of project management experience, covering the entire project lifecycle.
• Experience managing infrastructure and software development projects with budgets of $1 million and up
• Bilingualism (French and English), both oral and written.
• PMP certification (an asset) or equivalent certification, as well as a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Excellent proficiency in project management tools, including OnePlan, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Planner, and Excel.
• Demonstrated experience in managing internal and external resources.
• Proven experience in deploying technology (IT) solutions.
• The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong ability to adapt to changing priorities, tight deadlines and unforeseen events, supported by strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A proven ability to engage and obtain the collaboration of various stakeholders, including senior management, clients and various departments.
• Excellent written and oralmunication skills, including the ability to present information at an executive level.
