About the role

We are looking for a Lifecycle Marketing & Consumer Analytics Manager to join our Marketing team! This role combines data analytics, consumer insights, and lifecycle marketing strategy.

You will turn complex data into actionable insights to drive customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and growth across multiple marketing channels, including email, SMS, paid ads, and more. Using our applications and marketing platforms you will design and execute campaigns, customer journeys, and triggered events so we acquire, engage, and retain customers in a measurable, data-driven manner. This includes defining KPIs, building attribution frameworks, running cohort and funnel analyses, and continuously testing and refining programs to improve conversion, retention, and ROI.

If you thrive on analyzing trends, uncovering drivers of consumer behaviour, and translating insights into rigorously measurable, high-impact marketing programs, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute data-driven lifecycle marketing strategies across email, SMS, and other owned and paid channels, with clear performance targets tied to acquisition, engagement, and retention (AER).
  • Analyze large datasets using SQL and analytics tools to uncover insights about consumer behaviour, trends, and growth opportunities.
  • Translate analytical insights into actionable marketing campaigns, including automated customer journeys, segmentation, and personalization.
  • Own daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of consumer activity across all owned and paid channels, developing a repeatable reporting deck that trends the KPIs supporting our AER objectives.
  • Monitor, report on, and optimize campaign performance across all channels, and build the dashboards and reports that keep AER goals on track.
  • Act as a bridge between data and marketing execution, ensuring insights are applied to acquisition, engagement, retention, and expansion initiatives.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize Shopify dashboards, Klaviyo flows, and other marketing automation tools.
  • Lead testing strategies and optimization programs to improve open rates, conversion, and ROI.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, deliverability best practices, and data integrity across campaigns.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, social, creative, and product teams to ensure consistent messaging and cohesive customer journeys.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging marketing technologies to drive innovation.

So are YOU our next Lifecycle Marketing & Consumer Analytics Manager?

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 5–8+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, email/SMS marketing, or data analytics, preferably in a digital retail or DTC environment.
  • Strong technical skills: SQL fluency, data visualization tools (Power BI, Google Data Studio, Looker, etc.), and proficiency in Shopify/Klaviyo or similar platforms.
  • Experience in customer segmentation, personalization, and automation for lifecycle marketing programs.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex data sets, generate insights, and translate findings into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools, paid ads, and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, A/B testing, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, project management, and multitasking skills; able to present complex data in a clear, actionable manner.
  • Experience with campaign tracking, data governance, and reporting dashboards.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and managing multiple priorities.
  • Retail or e-commerce experience is a strong asset.
  • Bilingual English/French.
  • Able to work onsite at our Montreal office 5 days a week.
