Job Description

Job Description:

  • The client is seeking a System Business Analyst in Property & Casualty Insurance with proven Guidewire experience, capable of collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements, translate them into functional specifications, improve system efficiency, and oversee testing, including user acceptance. The role is both functional and system-related: writing specifications, modeling, defining and monitoring tests, and resolving functional issues.
  • The Brokerage Insurance Program focuses on commercial insurance: knowledge of sales or brokerage, including agency billing, brokerage fees, and commissions, is an asset but not a requirement.
  • The key selection criteria are two cumulative thresholds: insurance experience and Guidewire experience, both at 5 years, complemented by the expected Guidewire certifications. The mandate covers three Guidewire modules: PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter, with priority given to PolicyCenter followed by ClaimCenter.

Requirements

Mandatory:

  • 10 years of relevant experience
  • 5 years of business architecture experience within a transformation program environment
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
  • Business needs definition and high-level analysis (benefits, value, impacts, scope)

Desirable:

  • Production of business architecture deliverables using Enterprise Architect or an equivalent modeling tool
  • Understanding of organizational context and business strategies

Asset:

  • Knowledge of the insurance industry/domain
