Application Developer Snowflake / Databricks / Python / SQL
Location : Montreal, QC
Description du poste
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions using Snowflake and Databricks.
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data processing.
- Develop high-quality Python applications, automation scripts, APIs, and data integration services.
- Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and performance-tuned data transformations.
- Implement data models, data quality controls, validation frameworks, and reconciliation processes.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, architects, and application teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines and application performance.
- Support CI/CD deployments, testing, release management, and production support activities.
- Ensure solutions meet security, governance, audit, and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to cloud modernization initiatives and data platform enhancements.
Compétences techniques
- Strong experience with Snowflake Data Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks and Apache Spark.
- Advanced Python programming skills (Pandas, Pyspark, NumPy, REST APIs).
- Expert-level SQL development and query optimization.
- Experience building ETL/ELT solutions and data pipelines.
- Good understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and data lake architecture.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development practices.
- Experience troubleshooting performance issues across databases and distributed environments.
Compétences préférées
- Experience with Snowpark, Cortex AI, or Databricks AI capabilities.
- Knowledge of orchestration tools such as Airflow or Azure Data Factory.
- Familiarity with Kafka, streaming data, or event-driven architectures.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other analytics/reporting platforms.
- Understanding of financial services or enterprise data platforms.
