Our client, a global leader in 3D CAD/CAM software solutions for the building and wood construction industries, is seeking a Technical Sales Representative. Reporting to management, you will play a key role in providing technical support, training, development and guidance to North American clients in the use of their software.
- Provide technical support and assist existing Canadian and American clients in the use and optimization of software solutions;
- Prepare proposals for the sale of software and complementary services
- Train new users in French and English;
- Conduct software demonstrations with potential clients;
- Represent the company at trade shows in North America;
- Create and update marketing tools and materials;
- Write technical documentation to support the development of new features;
- Document bugs, follow up on fixes and collaborate with developers on validation;
- Develop new 2D and 3D libraries;
- Travel: 10% in Canada and the US.
Exigences
- DEC with a solid foundation in computer-aided design;
- Basic knowledge of CAD/CAM software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.;
- Good knowledge of computer tools and Windows environment;
- Asset: Experience in construction or 3D modeling;
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
- Bilingual (clients in US).
