Our financial services client is seeking a Technical Business Analyst (10+ years) to translate technical requirements and data mappings using Agile SDLC, SQL Server, and API integrations within the Wealth Advisory and Funds domains (Remote; MST) [-58].

Overview

Join multiple projects supporting Wealth Advisory and Funds initiatives within a banking environment. This role bridges business strategy and technical execution by translating business requirements into technical specifications, API mappings, system workflows, and backlog items across legacy and cloud-native platforms. The position supports end-to-end delivery, including data validation, testing, release documentation, and operational readiness. This is a remote opportunity supporting Mountain Time business hours with potential for extension.

Exigences

Must Haves

  • 10+ years in Technical Business Analysis, technical requirement creation, and Agile SDLC
  • Data & API mapping including REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and system workflows
  • Strong proficiency in SQL Server for data analysis and validation
  • Deep understanding of integration protocols, including FIX Protocol (trade execution pipelines) and secure file transfer (SFTP)
  • Experience across hybrid infrastructure - legacy on-premise systems and modern cloud-native SaaS platforms (AWS or GCP)
  • Wealth/asset management or capital markets domain experience (e.g., STP for equities, fixed income, derivatives, or pooled fund structures)

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with wealth management/portfolio modeling systems (e.g., StateStreet, Dataphile, PureWealth, Multiview)
  • Conceptual knowledge of .NET, JavaScript, Java, or Salesforce
  • CBAP, CSPO, PSPO, CFA Level 1, CSC, or CPH certifications

Responsabilités

  • Partner with business stakeholders and Solution Architects to translate requirements into functional and technical specifications
  • Document API inputs/outputs and map complex data conversions across source, intermediary, and destination systems
  • Trace and document end-to-end data flows across legacy and modern systems to identify integration gaps
  • Write SQL queries and data validation scripts to verify data integrity
  • Create and manage Agile backlog items (Jira stories/tasks) for technical teams
  • Author technical documentation including runbooks, steady-state guides, and release support docs
  • Collaborate with Change Management to ensure smooth deployments
  • Formulate testing matrices and support UAT for zero-disruption trade processing
