Our financial services client is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist (Reliability Status, 10+ years) to develop and implement QA automation using Cypress and DevOps tools

Join a banking environment supporting collateral management application services and quality assurance automation initiatives. This role focuses on QA automation adoption, automation framework improvement, CI/CD testing integration, and testing support across web applications, third-party applications, and system integrations. The consultant will contribute to automation strategy discussions, including AI-enabled testing approaches, while supporting operational reliability in a regulated environment.

18 month Contract, possible 6-month extension. % Remote, Working Hours: EST

Exigences

Must Haves

  • 10+ years in quality assurance testing across web applications, third-party applications, and system integrations
  • 5+ years developing, maintaining, deploying, and executing automated test scripts
  • Cypress and test automation frameworks
  • DevOps tools including source code control, Continuous Integration, and Jenkins
  • Consultant must be eligible to obtain Reliability Status clearance and reside in Canada for a minimum of 5 years

  • Allure TestOps
  • Postman
  • AI-enabled development or testing tools such as GitHub Copilot
  • Financial services, regulated, or mission-critical application environments

Responsabilités

  • Review existing automation frameworks and testing practices
  • Recommend improvements to QA automation frameworks and practices
  • Facilitate discussions on testing toolchains, technologies, and automation practices
  • Develop and implement QA automation scripts using manual test cases, regression scenarios, and performance testing requirements
  • Contribute to manual testing, integration testing, and performance testing activities
  • Enhance automated test coverage, test data readiness, and CI/CD testing integration
  • Analyze test results, troubleshoot automation failures, and improve test stability
