Position Description:
Lead One of CGI's Most Strategic Banking Relationships. CGI is Canada's largest IT and business consulting firm and one of the largest independent consulting firms in the world. We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our Financial Services practice in Greater Montréal as Vice President, Consulting Services (VPCS).
This is a unique opportunity to lead and grow one of CGI's most strategic banking relationships. As the executive accountable for a flagship Canadian Financial institution, you will drive business growth, strengthen C suite relationships, oversee complex transformation initiatives and position CGI as a trusted partner in the client's technology and business transformation journey.
Working closely with CIO, Data & AI, and technology leadership teams, you will leverage CGI's full portfolio of capabilities, including Digital Transformation, Data & AI, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Applications, Managed Services, and Business Consulting, to deliver measurable business outcomes and expand CGI's impact across the organization.
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Consulting Services, you will lead a high performing team and be accountable for revenue growth, profitability, client satisfaction, and talent development across your portfolio.

What You'll Do:
Executive Client Leadership
- Lead CGI's executive relationship with one of Canada's largest banking clients.
- Build and deepen trusted partnerships with C suite executives, particularly within the CIO organization, Data & AI leadership teams.
- Act as a strategic advisor, bringing industry insight, innovation, and thought leadership to key business and technology discussions.
Business Development & Growth
- Develop and execute growth strategies that expand CGI's footprint and strengthen long term partnerships.
- Identify, shape, and close large scale transformation opportunities across technology and business domains.
- Collaborate across CGI's global organization to bring the firm's full capabilities and expertise to client opportunities.
- Lead strategic pursuits from opportunity identification through proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.
- Achieve revenue, profitability, and growth objectives through disciplined portfolio and pipeline management.
- Structure innovative consulting, managed services, and outcome based solutions that create value for clients and CGI.
Strategic Delivery Oversight
- Provide executive oversight for complex, multi year transformation programs and managed services engagements.
- Ensure delivery excellence, client satisfaction, risk management, and value realization across all active mandates.
- Act as an executive escalation point for critical client and delivery matters.
- Partner with delivery leaders to ensure operational excellence and sustainable growth.
People & Practice Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of directors, business development leaders, consulting professionals, and delivery executives.
- Build and retain high performing teams focused on client success and business growth.
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Champion talent development in high growth areas including Data & AI, Cloud, Cybersecurity, DevSecOps, Digital Engineering, and Agile Delivery.
- Contribute to the growth and strategic direction of CGI's Financial Services practice.

What You Bring
- Executive Leadership Experience
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience within consulting, technology services, or financial services.
- Proven success in senior client facing leadership roles with accountability for revenue growth, profitability, and strategic account management.
- Demonstrated experience leading large scale business development initiatives and complex transformation engagements.
- Track record of managing and developing high performing consulting and delivery organizations.
- Experience leading significant P&L responsibilities within consulting, technology, or financial services environments.
- Financial Services Expertise
- Deep understanding of the Canadian banking and financial services industry
- Established executive relationships within major financial institutions and credibility with senior technology and business leaders.
- Strong knowledge of technology transformation priorities, including technology strategy, operating model transformation, Data & AI, cloud modernization, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
- Understanding of modern consulting and delivery models, including advisory services, managed services, and outcome based engagements.
Leadership Competencies
- Exceptional executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead complex negotiations.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience structuring large deals and managing profitable growth.
- Strategic thinker capable of balancing long term vision with operational execution.
- Collaborative leadership style with a reputation for building trust and delivering results.
- Ability to navigate complexity, manage competing priorities, and lead through change.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- MBA or advanced degree is considered an asset.
- Executive level fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
