Mainframe Solution Architect – Public Sector
Location: Montreal, QC
Description du poste
We are seeking a Mainframe Solution Architect to lead architecture, modernization, and transformation initiatives across enterprise Public Sector environments.
The successful candidate will define future-state architecture, modernization strategies, and cloud migration roadmaps for mission-critical systems.

Candidates must have architecture experience supporting Government, Crown Corporations, Healthcare, Defense, Education, Utilities, Transportation, or other Public Sector organizations.
Candidates without Public Sector experience will not be considered.
Responsabilités
- Define enterprise modernization roadmaps.
- Design target-state architecture solutions.
- Evaluate modernization and migration approaches.
- Lead architecture reviews and technical assessments.
- Support cloud transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with executive stakeholders and delivery teams.
Qualifications requises
- 10+ years of Mainframe and Enterprise Architecture experience.
- Expertise in z/OS, COBOL, PL/I, DB2, CICS, and JCL.
- Experience with cloud migration and modernization strategies.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications préférées
- TOGAF Certification.
- Cloud Architecture Certifications.
- Government Security Clearance.
