ABOUT THE TEAM
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Market Data Vendors, the Senior Analyst, Market Data Vendors will work as part of a small team in managing end-to-end market data vendor relationships, including onboarding, implementation, budgeting, payment processing, and extensive internal client support. The PSP Market Data Vendors team currently manages a wide array of vendors across an extensive range of services and datasets. The Senior Analyst will be primarily responsible for maintaining market data subscription inventory, responding to licensing requests and handling contract renewals. He or she will also work to improve the efficiency of the many operational tasks.
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
As a Senior Analyst, Market Data Vendors, you’ll:
Monitor contract pipelines, proactively manage renewals, cancellations, and new sourcing opportunities
Prepare, negotiate, and finalize contractual agreements with suppliers, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders
Serve as the central point of contact for all communications between PSP and bidders/suppliers
Track and document contract renewals and exit strategies, ensuring timely updates and accurate records in relevant systems
Liaise with Privacy, Legal, and Compliance teams to complete contract documentation, ensuring alignment with PSP policies and legal requirements
Advise internal clients and business partners on contractual rights and obligations, acting as the primary resource for contract-related inquiries
Update and standardize contract language across market data agreements, maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, and support the data sourcing process
Organize and maintain the contract tracking system, and contribute to the optimization and coordination of business tools and processes to enhance deliverables
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (including Supply Chain Management), Engineering, Law or Information Technology
Between three (3) and five (5) years of relevant experience in a procurement or contract specialist role
Knowledge of purchasing processes and the preparation and review of contracts and tenders
Paralegal degree or a bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in business administration, law, or related field required; master’s degree in business, law, or related field would be considered a plus
Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
Previous experience with Optimize TRG an asset
Ability to prioritize tasks and support multiple engagements across various business lines and vendors with minimal oversight
Bilingualism: English and French (frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)
