Our Montreal based client is seeking an experienced SAP Finance and Controlling (FI/CO) Consultant to join their project immediately and will run for 6 months with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of SAP FI/CO consulting experience, including extensive hands-on and project implementation work, along with proven experience with OpenText VIM (Vendor Invoice Management). This will be a primarily remote role, but the candidate must be able to travel on-site approximately once per month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Focus on finance enhancements, issue resolution, and upgrade support within their enterprise SAP environment.
- Support an SAP S/4HANA upgrade project.
- Perform finance-related configuration fixes and functional support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FI/CO issues.
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders throughout the upgrade lifecycle.
- Support testing, validation, and post-upgrade stabilization activities.
- Collaborate within a hybrid project delivery environment.
- Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA upgrade projects.
- Solid background in SAP Finance configuration and support.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a client-facing consulting environment.
