About the Role
We are looking for a Functional Support / Business Analyst / Bonds trading desk to join a strategic project with one of our major banking clients in Montreal.
This role is focused on the Bonds desk, where you will provide day-to-day functional support and act as a key liaison between Front Office traders and IT teams.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver daily functional support for Bonds trading desks, leveraging on Murex MX.3.
Work closely with Front Office traders and sales teams to capture requirements, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely solutions.
Analyze and prioritize multiple requests simultaneously in a high-pressure environment.
Participate in testing, validation, and optimization of Murex workflows and configurations.
Document incidents, propose functional solutions, and ensure follow-up until resolution.
Collaborate with IT, Middle Office, and Back Office teams to ensure smooth operations and data integrity.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
Solid front office support experience (5+ year) without proven track record of exposure to Bonds trading desk
Solid experience with Murex MX.3, ideally on Front Office / Bonds trading.
Strong understanding of fixed income products.
Proven background in functional support or Business Analysis within banking or consulting.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with traders and demanding stakeholders.
Ability to perform under pressure and multi-task effectively.
Strong technical foundations are a plus: SQL.
Professional English required; French is an asset.

Requirements
The ideal candidate must have 5+ years of experience in Front Office support, with specific expertise in Murex MX.3 and a deep functional understanding of Bonds and Fixed Income products. They need to be highly resilient under pressure, possessing strong SQL/technical skills and the ability to act as a seamless liaison between traders and IT teams.
