Tasks
- Advise and support managers in the day-to-day management of labour relations and sensitive situations (conflicts, complaints, harassment, etc.)
- Interpret and apply collective agreements, as well as labour laws and regulations
- Manage disciplinary and administrative files (investigations, disciplinary actions, grievances, etc.)
- Represent the employer in dealings with unions, participate in labour relations committees, and take part in collective agreement negotiations
- Develop, implement, and promote prevention and conflict management strategies, as well as compliant and innovative practices
- Contribute to the development of HR policies and procedures, and train and support managers on best practices
- Participate in HR activities (unionized and non-unionized recruitment, support to supervisors, special projects, and other related tasks)
- Perform any other related duties as required

Exigences
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years of relevant experience
- Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment (mandatory)
- Experience in the industrial and/or manufacturing sector (asset)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and research abilities
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
- Member of the CRHA order (or equivalent)
- Bilingualism (advanced French and English) required due to frequent interactions with an HR team based in Ontario (approximately 50% of the time)
