About the role

We are looking for a Change Management Specialist OPL (Commercial Lines / Specialty Lines) to join our Change Management team and help drive large-scale transformations.

At Intact, change management is a performance accelerator: it helps our teams and partners adopt new ways of working, reduce friction, and unlock new growth opportunities. You will play a central role in delivering change strategies nationwide. Working closely with project teams and stakeholders, you will deliver impactful communications, practical training, actionable tools, mentoring, and a clear view of on-the-ground impacts.

What you’ll do here:

  • Design and deploy change strategies that accelerate adoption of new behaviours and AI tools.

  • Engage stakeholders (senior leadership, operations, partners) and build trusted relationships to align needs and drive buy-in.

  • Conduct analyses (stakeholder, impact, risk) and propose pragmatic mitigation plans.

  • Create clear, engaging communications and training (including the OPL program), delivered at the right time, in collaboration with key teams and the eLearning developer.

  • Identify resistance, remove barriers, and foster an agile, flexible, solutions-oriented culture.

  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and training sessions that energize people and build commitment.

  • Implement KPIs and monitoring tools and share meaningful updates and recommendations with leadership.

  • Align change activities with delivery timelines, particularly in an Agile environment.

What you bring to the table:

  • Relevant education (business, HR, organizational psychology) or equivalent experience.

  • At least 7 years of experience in change management and project deployment.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills; comfortable working with executive leaders.

  • Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong familiarity with AI tools, using sound judgment, maintaining confidentiality, and applying responsible-use practices.

  • Knowledge of Agile ways of working and experience supporting Agile transformation.

  • Insurance experience (an asset) and/or a change management certification.

  • Influence, strategic mindset, creativity, comfort with ambiguity, and a results-driven approach.

  • Strong project management and planning skills, with rigor around deliverables and timelines.

  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.

  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country
