Job Title: Frontend Developer (Contract) Location: Montreal (Hybrid) Sector: Financial Services I’m partnering with a global investment bank in Montreal on a Junior Frontend Developer contract — ideal for someone looking to build experience within a data-focused, enterprise environment. You’ll be working on internal tools and dashboards that directly support business decision-making, while gaining exposure to large-scale systems and cross-functional teams. What you’ll be working on: • Creating and enhancing dashboards with key business metrics • Developing JavaScript components and widgets connected to REST APIs • Handling data through SQL queries and internal ETL processes • Partnering with Business Analysts to translate requirements into solutions • Troubleshooting production issues and rolling out fixes • Contributing to code reviews and continuous improvements • Managing multiple deliverables across different business areas Core requirements: • Solid foundation in JavaScript development • Experience working with REST APIs • Good working knowledge of SQL • Familiarity with Git • Strong communication skills and team mindset • Comfortable working in an international environment Nice to have: • Exposure to TypeScript • Experience writing SQL scripts • French language skills
