Security Architect

Role Summary We are seeking an experienced SecDesign Security Architect to perform security architecture and design assessments across enterprise applications, infrastructure, cloud platforms, and business processes. This role involves identifying security risks, recommending remediation strategies, and partnering with global technology and business teams to ensure secure solution delivery. The position also supports modernization of the SDLC platform, enabling secure deployment automation across private/public cloud and SaaS environments. Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days onsite required in Montreal Key Responsibilities - Conduct security architecture and design reviews - Identify security risks and recommend remediation actions - Support secure SDLC and DevSecOps initiatives - Collaborate with global technology, business, and security teams - Review cloud, application, and infrastructure security designs - Provide guidance on security best practices and compliance standards Required Skills - 10+ years in Cybersecurity / Security Architecture - Strong experience in: - Cloud Security (AWS, Azure, GCP) - Application & Infrastructure Security - DevSecOps / CI-CD Security - Threat Modeling & Risk Assessments - IAM and Security Frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, OWASP) - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Preferred Qualifications - CISSP, CCSP, TOGAF, or similar certifications - Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, or cloud automation - Background in large enterprise or financial services environments
