Job Duties: Mobile Development Engineer (Native) Role Summary Support mobile-specific development and integration use cases as part of the AI developer tools onboarding effort. Ensure native mobile developer workflows (iOS / Android) are represented, tested, and enabled as new AI tools are onboarded. Key Responsibilities · Represent native mobile developer use cases during AI tool evaluation and onboarding. · Build and validate proofs-of-concept that exercise mobile-specific workflows (build systems, simulators, device integration). · Integrate AI dev tools with mobile toolchains (Xcode / Android Studio / Gradle / Fastlane). · Produce mobile integration artifacts, sample projects, and documentation. · Collaborate with Morgan Stanley mobile engineering teams to capture friction points and drive improvements. Minimum Skills Required: Required Skills & Experience · Intermediate-level native mobile development experience (iOS Swift/Objective-C and/or Android Kotlin/Java). · Working knowledge of modern mobile build and release tooling (Xcode, Android Studio, Gradle, Fastlane, CI for mobile). · Experience with at least one AI-assisted development tool (Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor, or comparable). · Comfortable with Git, CI/CD, and cross-platform developer workflows. · On-site at Morgan Stanley Montreal office. Preferred / Nice-to-Have · Cross-platform frameworks (React Native, Flutter, Kotlin Multiplatform). · Experience working inside enterprise mobile programs with strict code signing / MDM constraints. · Prior use of LLM-powered refactoring, code review, or testing tools on mobile codebases.
