Application Support Analyst – Production Location: Downtown Montreal – Onsite 3 days/week Duration: 6 months with possible extension – 40 hours/week Pay Rate: CAD $60–$65/hour (Independent Contractor) Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Application Support Analyst to provide critical production support for Front Office trading applications in a fast-paced live trading environment. The role involves supporting trade workflows, incident resolution, and ensuring application stability for products including SWAPs, Bonds, Futures, and IRS. Minimum Qualifications / Must-Haves - 5+ years of experience in application support / critical production support environments - Strong understanding of Front Office trade flows: - SWAPs - Bonds - Futures - IRS - Hands-on experience with: - SQL Oracle (queries and data analysis) - Scripting / automation / investigation - Python (strong asset) - Jira / ServiceNow ticketing tools - Experience supporting critical Front Office applications in real-time environments - Strong incident management and troubleshooting skills under pressure - English required (Bilingual is a plus) Key Responsibilities - Provide production support for Front Office applications - Monitor and ensure trade workflow stability - Support traders and Front Office teams - Manage and resolve production incidents under tight timelines - Follow strict change management processes - Participate in releases, platform improvements, and operational monitoring
