Role Description Design & Product Development Coordinator This full-time, on-site role of Design & Product Development Coordinator is based in Montreal, QC. The coordinator will manage the end-to-end product development process, from conceptualization to final production. Daily tasks include a diverse range of tasks including collaborating with the design and sales teams, overseeing sample development, coordinating with manufacturers, and ensuring timelines and budgets are met. The role requires maintaining a high standard of quality, organization and innovation for all product lines. Scope of Responsibilities - Priority task sequencing coordination with team - Customer follow-up documents - Generate & coordinate costing files from company templates - Follow-up with factories - Design and tech pack creation - Develop customer digital sales tools; images, CADs, line lists, etc... - Contribute to preparing customer presentation material - Sample review, organization & preparation to send to customers - Monitor consistency between design, PD, operations team & our factories - Coordination & communication of style information Qualifications - Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors effectively. - Proficiency in project management and the ability to handle multiple tasks, timelines, and priorities. - Experience in product development with a focus on accessories, hosiery, scarves, gloves or related industries. - Analytical skills to evaluate designs, trends, and production processes critically. - Knowledge of sales processes and an understanding of customer needs to better align product development strategies with market demands. - Proficiency in design software and basic knowledge of manufacturing practices is a plus. - Adobe Illustrator, AI design and image creation platforms - Strong capability in Microsoft Excel - Post-secondary education in Fashion Design, Product Development, Business, or a related field is preferred. - Certificate of Qualification for Design Activities in Quebec (Quebec Design Certificate) issued by the Ministère de l'Économie, de l'Innovation et de l'Énergie (MEIE) in Quebec - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a solution-focused approach. Compensation: $55,000-$62,000
